the request for a memorial to be put in was made by the staff after i had already completed the room, my copyright (the tombstone on the left) was already in place. i was specifically told to put her marking. not her name. the memorial was put there as a spot of comfort for the people who knew her well, those people wont need her name to be big and in flashing lights for it to matter to them. its a small gesture and it doesnt need to be argued about.Motley wrote:Mortemer wrote:Tbh I think Kina's name should be included on it somewhere.
Without this topic I would have had no idea it was a dedication at all.
But that's just me.
Nice gesture though. :)
This was a nice gesture and the room is beautiful but.........
If this is a memorial room howcome Heyl's name is shown (bigger) than Kina's?
i don't agree with having Heyl's name on a grave stone and kinas not even having her name propperly displayed.

RIP Kina <3
I will say that I didn't notice the dedication to Kina when I was in that room until I saw this thread just now. I still think it is a wonderful gesture to her and glad it is on the site. But truth be told all I noticed was Heyl on a headstone when I was in the room. Either way, thank you Heyl for the room, it is a lovely remake and so glad to see something for Kina.

the tombstone was requested by the staff as-is. it was not my design. the fact that i had put my copyright on the left tombstone (before the memorial was even implemented) is not meant to belittle kina. i dont want to hear people argue about a memorial that was meant to be subtle in the first place
if this continues to be an issue im going to ask that the room is removed altogether

thank you guys for all the nice comments
as for people wanting to argue about the memorial not being big and flashy and in-your-face
it was meant to be subtle and vague so that those who knew her would recognize it.
i find it highly disrespectful that people want to argue about this. not because i am the artist but because this is meant to honor someone we miss. the only reason my name is more big and blatant is because it was placed there before the idea of a memorial was even brought up.
i dont want to see people arguing about this at all. just be respectful

Heyl, the room is beautiful and I don't think there is anything wrong. I like that it is Breathe Easy. People who know about Kina will recognize it. People who don't, well... They wouldn't know the difference between "Kina" and "Heyl" being on the stones, so it doesn't matter. They would have to ask about it, and it would be explained then - same with the stones now.

Calm down bro, no one meant to disrespect you.
Just got confused is all.
Here it says it is a memorial, but we wouldn't know it if we didn't read the topic.
Some people are just really heartfelt about Kina, and strongly feel that she deserves the best.
We weren't aware you were asked to add it in afterwards.
We weren't aware of any of this back-end stuff.
So thank you for clarifying.
That's all.
Shhhh.
Calm your pretty little head.

its not disrespecting me its disrespecting kina. its very much like the people of wh to take a nice gesture about someone who has passed and want to argue about it over petty things.

This is really beautiful and i see no reason for all the rude comments lol.
I'm really glad to see a subtle memento towards Kina, as during my underage, noob days, many years ago, she was the kindest and nicest person i ever met on WH.
