I want to know how to colour poses on SAI without the background being white when you save.
I did follow exactly everything what this topic said; viewtopic.php?f=32&t=57499&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But when I got to the saving, a little window did not pop up.
Is there any other way to do it,please tell me. ;u;?

yep! but it required either GIMP or photoshop.
when youre done with your pose, save it as a .psd filr rather than a .png/.gif and then open up that same file in gimp/ps.
for gimp, make sure you have the "save background colour" box UNCHECKED and then go ahead and save as youd like with transparency.
with photoshop all you have to do is save it with the correct extension (.png or .gif)
also, make sure the white parts in your pose are actually coloured white, or else theyll go transparent as well.
nwn hope this was clear enough, if you need further help id glad to clarify.<3

Aah I know that, but I mean colour a pose in SAI haha.
Not making one. c:
As said in post, I tried following the link showed above, but it didn't work.
The only problem I get is that the white background is there after i've coloured the pose in SAI.
And i'm too lazy to click up gimp to fix it.

colouring a pose in sais basically the same, just select outside area of the pose + invert + new layer + set to multiply, all that jazz
in sai the transparent background IS the white background
if you want to save the coloured pose as a .png/.gif with a transparent background you MUST do the. psd > open in gimp > save as. png/.gif there
theres no way around it, haha.

If you didn't buy it, it's most likely not going to show up. Some versions do have that feature though, so it just depends on where you got it from. Other than that, just make sure you save it as a .psd or some layered file that other programs can detect, and delete the background in those. :) That's all that will really work when coloring poses in SAI if you don't have that feature.
