How To Seperate Poses?

I forgot how to do this, lol. I remember some of it, but I really don't know how to. I know you have to crop and stuff, but if anyone has a link to a good tutorial, or can describe it easily, please help :)! Thanks a lot to whoever posts :D!

It's all good!
How I separate it is:
Open up what you want to separate
Click the "Free select tool" Looks like a lasso
Go around the pose you want deleted
Finish the loop and it will close off the select
Grab the eraser and delete it, cropping the pose left over
Then do the same for the other side.
